How to Order Contact Lenses Online
Firstly, welcome to OzContacts! We help thousands of Australian contact lens wearers every year by providing a convenient, hassle-free and reliable way to order replacement contact lenses. We are extremely confident that once you place and receive your first order with us, you won't look back!
We understand that ordering your contact lenses online for the first time can be a little daunting. After all, contact lenses are not like many other items that you might buy online. It has to be correct, or you won't be able to see! To help make the process a little simpler we've provided an outline of the steps to take to order your contact lenses online with us.
Step 1 - Find your prescribed product
There are several ways to search for your product:
(a) By the Find My Brand tab on the main navigation bar:
(b) By typing the name of your product into the Search Bar:
(c) By getting in touch with any of our friendly Australian-based Customer Service Team!
Step 2 - Enter prescription details for your product
Once you are on the product page, simply add the correction and dimension details that you have been prescribed for this product...
Wear exactly the same product (and correction) in each eye?
Contact lenses need to fit like a glove, but unlike gloves, they are not made for a particular Left of Right useage. Contact lenes are made for a particular correction (e.g. Power/Base Curve/Diameter etc combination), not for a particular eye. This means that if you wear exactly the same product and exactly the same correction, then you can either select to purchase a dedicated box of the product for each of your Left or Right Eyes, or you could purchase a single box under either the Left or Right Eye columns and then split the supply to use half for your Left Eye and the other half for your Right Eye. Of course if you split the pack in half then your supply will only last half as long!
Wear a different product in each eye?
Some contact lens wearers require a completely different product for each of their eyes. This is most common with that require a Toric/Astigmatism product in one eye but not in the other.
If you wear a different product between my Left and Right Eye, simply visit your first product page, enter your prescription details (e.g. Power, Base Curve, Diameter etc as required) and leave the eye that you do not wear that product as ‘0’. After you have added this first product to your Cart, simply visit the different product page and add your prescription details and quantity for the other eye in the same way as the first.
Only wear contact lenses in one eye?
Not a problem at all! Simply visit the product page for the product, and enter your prescription details (e.g. Power, Base Curve, Diameter etc as required) and leave the eye that you do not wear that product as ‘0.
Step 3 - Review your Cart
Review the contents of your Cart to make sure that you have exactly what you need. Most customers opt to order either a 3 or 6 month supply, but we offer free returns for any unopened and saleable boxes, so there's no need to worry if your prescription changes between orders.
If you are ordering a reusable Monthly or Fortnightly lens, you may like to compliment your contact lens order by adding some Contact Lens Solution to your Cart. And if you find that you spend a lot of time in dry air conditioning, you may like to add some Eye Drops to your order to keep your eyes fresh throughout the day.
Step 4 - Securely Check out
Immediately after you have successfully submitted your first order, we will send you an email to the email address that you nominated at the Checkout. In the email, you will be asked to click a link to confirm your account and nominate a password. This email address and new password that you set can be used by you to Log In to your My Account dashboard and manage your details and orders.
Step 5 - How to re-order next time
We understand how annoying it is to have to re-enter your details every time you place your order. After you have completed your first order and set your password, you can Log In to your OzContacts account and view a list of your historical orders with us.
If your product/presription requirements haven't changed and you would like to order exactly the same product as last time, simply click on the Order Again button beside that order and your Cart will be populated with the corresponding contents from last time.
With your Cart populated, simply progress to the Checkout and select the Billing, Shipping and Payment details that you would like to use for this new order.
